Our Story

Where it all started

My family and I moved to the United States from Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the late 1990s, carrying with us our roots, our traditions, and one of Argentina’s most beloved foods—empanadas.

For us, empanadas were always more than food—they were part of home, family gatherings, and the way we shared love around the table.

In 2001, we started our first empanada business in South Florida, sharing the flavors we grew up with and bringing a piece of Argentina to our new community.

Then, as life often does, it led us in different directions, and the business took a pause for a season.

But the love for what we created never left us. Even during those years, the dream of bringing it back stayed with us.

Our faith played an important role during that time—guiding us, grounding us, and reminding us why we started in the first place.

When the time felt right, we returned in 2022 with renewed purpose, deeper gratitude, and the same passion for serving people through food made with care.

Today, Gaucha is growing across Central and South Florida—serving weddings, corporate events, festivals, schools, and private gatherings.

We bring handcrafted Argentine-inspired empanadas with an American twist to every event, with a focus on smooth service, consistency, and a memorable experience.

Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a large-scale event, our goal is simple—to make everything feel easy, thoughtful, and well taken care of.

We truly believe this is just the beginning.
With God guiding us, we have many projects and ideas for the future, and we’re excited to keep growing, creating, and finding new ways to serve and connect with the community.

How it all came together

Today

Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Mariana. I’m the heart behind Gaucha, and I personally oversee every detail to ensure everything is just as it should be.

I grew up in Argentina, where food was always a big part of life. It wasn’t just about eating—it was about being together, sharing moments, and making people feel at home. Those memories are what stayed with me and inspired everything behind Gaucha.

Starting this wasn’t just a business for me—it was something very personal. I wanted to create a space where people could feel that same warmth, even in something as simple as an empanada.

I’m still very hands-on in everything we do, staying closely involved every step of the way—from the flavors we create to the experience we give each person we serve.

Gaucha has grown into a team, and I’m so grateful for that. And with God guiding the way, I’m excited for what’s ahead as we keep growing and sharing a little piece of our culture with more people.

The name Gaucha is deeply personal to me. It reflects who I am—my love for the outdoors, country life, horses, and a more grounded way of living. In Argentina, a “gaucha” represents strength, independence, resilience, and tradition—and that spirit is what we bring into everything we do.

More than empanadas—it’s love, tradition, and community shared in every bite.

Our Mission

Our mission has always been simple—to bring a little piece of Argentina to your table and create moments that bring people closer.

At Gaucha, we believe food is one of the most meaningful ways to connect. Every empanada we make carries tradition, family, and the care we put into serving others well.

From food truck service to weddings, corporate lunches, and community events, our goal is to make every experience feel warm, easy, and well taken care of.

More than food, we want every bite to feel like comfort—a reminder of how special it is when people come together.

Our Values

At Gaucha, everything we do comes down to a few simple things that matter deeply to us:

Authenticity
We stay true to where we come from—our Argentine roots, our traditions, and the care behind every empanada we make.

Quality
We believe in doing things the right way—using good ingredients and paying attention to every detail.

Community
Food has a beautiful way of bringing people together, and we feel grateful to be part of so many moments, big and small.

Family & Connection
Some of life’s best moments happen around food. We value the warmth, the conversations, and the connection shared at every table.

Hospitality
We want every guest to feel welcomed, cared for, and at home—the same way we would serve our own family.

Faith
Our faith is part of who we are—it guides how we work, how we serve, and how we show up for others, with gratitude, kindness, and purpose.

A taste of Argentina, shared with love.
